The Devine Fall Festival Queen’s Pageant, sponsored by the Greater Devine Chamber of Commerce, will be held on October 25, 2008 at 7:00 P.M. in the George S. Wood Community Center. Contestants will be young ladies in grades 9th through 11th at Devine High School or are being home schooled within the district. All contestants must be single, never been married or had a child.

   The Contestant must have a sponsor to participate. The sponsor fee for each girl will be $35.00. It would be greatly appreciated if the organizations, businesses or individuals would support these young ladies in their pursuit of a higher education. The Queen’s Court is a Scholarship organization and supports the efforts of all the contestants. Please complete the form and the contestant will return it to the Chamber of Commerce by 3:00 PM on October 3, 2008 to be eligible. The Application Form can be downloaded below.

   All sponsors will be acknowledged and recognized at the pageant. The names of the sponsors will be announced during introductions and will appear in the programs of the pageant. Please join the Greater Devine Chamber of Commerce in helping these young ladies develop the confidence and skills necessary to achieve their potential as well as earning scholarships to further their education.

   The Queen’s Court represents Devine in many ways by acting as Ambassadors in the different parades of the surrounding areas and hosting events held in our City. Being on the Queen’s Court is an honor and the City can be proud of the representation they provide.
